Bedok Mall is a newly opened (Dec 2013) shopping mall in Bedok Town Centre. Sitting on the site of the former (and future integrated) Bedok Bus Interchange, the shopping centre is slated to become the central retail hub for Bedok town. Bedok Mall is a part of an integrated development complex that houses 583 units of residential apartments (Bedok Residences) above it, as well as the new air-conditioned Bedok Bus Interchange.
With about two hundred retail and services shops spread over three floors, Bedok Mall is expected to be a major draw for residents, students, workers and even NSF servicemen in the Bedok (main, North and South), Kembangan, Tanah Merah and Chai Chee areas. While the areas are comprised of mainly HDB and private housing estates, there also many schools and education institutions, as well as factories, offices and even an army camp (Bedok Camp).
The shopping complex's retail mix is a typical suburban range of dining eateries, cafes, fashion apparel outlets, mobile phone and telecoms services shops, household/DIY shops, and beauty/salon services amongst others.
By Rail/Train: Bedok Mall is located beside and linked via its basement (B2) to Bedok MRT Station (EW5 East-West Line).
By Public Bus: Bedok Mall is next to the Bedok Temporary Bus Interchange. The new integrated Bedok Bus Interchange will be located at Level 2 of the mall complex, and expected to ready in mid-2014. Alternatively, visitors may alight along New Upper Changi Road (Bedok Station stop).
