Shopping malls and areas in the City-Central zone
This is the area at the southern tip of mainland Singapore. It includes places like Raffles Place, Chinatown and Tanjong Pagar. Other places and roads included are Havelock Road, the Tiong Bahru Road area and surrounding estates of Redhill and Jalan Bukit Merah. With a high density of residential and business buildings in this zone, it's no wonder there is a high concentration of shopping centres and malls here.

This area belongs to the Zones:Anchorpoint is a small shopping centre located next to The Anchorage Condominium and across Alexandra Road from IKEA. The mall has about thirty shops mainly catering to products and services for nearby residents, including a food court, cafes and restaurants. The mall is anchored by supermarket Cold Storage.

This area belongs to the Zones:Bugis Junction is a major modern shopping and entertainment venue in the Beach Road / Rochor Road area. It actually comprises a glass-roofed air-conditioned complex of quaint early-20th-century-styled shophouses, retail blocks and pedestrian-only streets. The four streets are :- Bugis Street (partial), Hylam Street, Malay Street and Malabar Street.

This area belongs to the Zones:Centrepoint Shopping Centre is located along Orchard Road and is one of the major retail destinations for Singaporeans and tourists alike. The mall is usually crowded with throngs of shoppers and working executives here for their meals. On the outside, there seem to be constant queues at the taxi stand and carpark entrance throughout most of the day.

This area belongs to the Zones:CityLink is a subterranean mall located starts from the City Hall MRT Station and ends at One Raffles Link with exits to Suntec City. Despite its relatively small size (50 shops and eateries spread over 50k sqft of retail space), it serves a high traffic area that links three other major malls in the area - Raffles City, Suntec City and Marina Square.
Above the CityLink Mall, at ground level, is the War Memorial Park, on which stands a 60-metre-high monument built to commemorate those who died during World War II.

This area belongs to the Zones:Clarke Quay used to be a trading and godown area from the early days of colonial Singapore, when bumboats operated to ferry goods from ships anchored off the Singapore River mouth.
Today, Clarke Quay has been developed into an open F&B area comprising rows of shophouse restaurants, bars and night entertainment venues. Many eateries on the ground floor tend to spill out onto the sidewalks, offering alfresco dining and drinking - some with a riverside view.

Located near to the landmark Goodwood Park Hotel, it marks the start of the far end of the Scotts Road branch of the Orchard Road Shopping Belt.

This area belongs to the Zones:Funan DigitaLife Mall touts itself as Asia's leading IT shopping mall. It is a one-stop shopping centre for the latest IT products and computer gadets - printers, digital cameras, mobile handheld/PDAs, PCs and notebooks. Anchored by IT megastore Challenger, located at the highest level, the mall's other six levels comprise some 140 shops, including many eateries and cafes. A foodcourt and supermarket is found at the basement.

This area belongs to the Zones:The Heeren is located at the heart of Orchard Road, near the junction with Cairnhill Road. Despite its small footprint, the six levels of Heeren houses about a hundred shops ranging from trendy clothes to fashion accessories, cafes and restaurants. The complex is anchored by music superstore HMV which carries a wide range of audio CDs and video discs/DVDs to cater to the most discerning audiophiles and movie fans.

This area belongs to the Zones:Liang Court is a shopping centre located along the Singapore River and near the Clarke Quay entertainment area. The complex is frequented by the Japanese due to its various Japanese restaurants, Japanese supermarket, Meidi-ya, and Kinokuniya bookstore.
Co-located with Liang Court shopping complex, is the Somerset Liang Court service residences and Novotel Clarke Quay hotel (formerly known as Hotel New Otani).

This area belongs to the Zones:Lucky Plaza is one of the more well-known shopping centres and recognized retail name in Singapore's Orchard Road. Opened three decades ago, in 1978, this grand old dame of Singapore shopping continues to draw the crowds to its wide-ranging mix of retail shops and food outlets.
The shops here include minimarts, money-changers, fashion accessories and clothing stores, tailors, electronics/video & IT goods retailers, jewellery & watch shops, gift stores.
